Chachi 420 (Devnagari: चाची ४२०, English: The Trickster Aunt) is a 1998 comedy film, made in India and directed by Kamal Haasan who also starred as the main character. Other actors include Amrish Puri, Tabu, Om Puri, Johnny Walker, Paresh Rawal,Rajendranath Zutshi, Ayesha Jhulka, Nassar and Baby Sana. The executive producer is Sab John aka John E. It is a remake of the Tamil film Avvai Shanmugi also starring Kamal Hassan which was in turn inspired by the American film Mrs. Doubtfire.

The film features Kamal Haasan in the lead role with Meena, Gemini Ganesan, Nagesh, Heera, Manivannan and Nassar. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Deva, while the film was produced by Ravindran and Hari. It was released on November 10 coinciding with the festival of Diwali in 1996 and became a commercially successful venture
